Supraorbital nerve block is often used to accomplish regional anesthesia of the face innervated by the supraorbital nerve. The supraorbital nerve supplies sensory innervation of the upper eyelid, forehead and scalp with extension to the lambdoidal suture line.
Infraorbital nerve block is often used to accomplish regional anesthesia of the face innervated by the infraorbital nerve. The infraorbital nerve supplies sensory innervation of the lower eyelid, side of the nose and upper lip.
