About Us

Recover Restore Revive

Recover Restore Revive was founded by a husband and wife who in their own practice noticed a lack of empathy, compassion and attention to patients coupled with a reactionary medical model. From this personal experience, we felt it is our responsibility to bring these values back into today’s private health care market by conveying these values to our clients every day.

Our vision is to become leaders in a new field of medicine, restorative medicine. To accomplish this vision, we must change the way health care is delivered. We provide true preventative medicine and not traditional reactionary medicine. Our goal is to detect illness early with the goal of increasing longevity, quality of life, patient satisfaction all while providing the best, most up-to-date, personalized, and accessible medical care possible.

Our quest is to differentiate ourselves from our competitors, by providing a distinct health care experience. Our restorative medicine model is centered around the core values of excellence, individualized compassionate care, and by empowering our clients to achieve their very best health possible. Allowing our clients to feel their best, live longer, and achieve success in a quality-filled life. We are on a mission to help make your life healthier and stronger; while motivating others in the medical and health care field to do the same.

Dr. Julius Balogh

Dr. Julius Balogh, MD, MHA opened Recover Restore Revive with his wife due to a shared interest in providing comprehensive care to patients from all backgrounds with some of the latest medical technology. Dr. Balogh’s medical vision for his practice includes focusing on each individual’s health goals by providing a proactive treatment plan for recovery, restoration, and longevity. His personal story of hormone replacement therapy coupled with complex management of cholesterol and thyroid medications fuels his passion for education around this subject to both athletes and non-athletes alike. He is double board certified as an anesthesiologist and critical care physician. He also holds a masters of healthcare administration (MHA) degree.
Dr. Balogh was born and raised in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada prior to coming to the United States as a Registered Nurse (RN). Dr. Balogh worked as an RN for 15 years primarily in the operating room as a surgical assistant in Houston, Texas. During his time as a nurse, he spent many years helping develop the bariatric program in Houston into a center of excellence. He then attended medical school at Trinity School of Medicine. During his final year of medical school, he also decided to enroll in the MHA program that he would conclude during his first year of residency.
After completion of medical school, he returned to Houston where he originally enrolled in surgical residency pursuing abdominal transplantation. He completed 4.5 years of surgical residency before transitioning to anesthesia. After the completion of his anesthesia residency, he then completed a fellowship in Critical Care medicine. Throughout his tenure as an attending physician he not only had practice within the operating room, but also expanded his passion of caring for organ donors by building an organ donor management program. He has created several protocols within critical care units and the operating room alike; now traveling the country to present his protocols to other hospitals. When Dr. Balogh is not at work; he enjoys spending time with his family, powerlifting, and curating his expansive lego collection. He holds dual citizenship within the United States and Canada alike, while also maintaining fluency in his native Hungarian language.

Holly Balogh

DNP, APRN

Holly Balogh DNP, APRN, opened Recover Restore Revive with her husband due to a shared interest in providing comprehensive care to patients from all backgrounds with some of the latest medical technology. Holly’s medical vision for her practice is one of open communication where all patients feel comfortable discussing even their most intimate needs. She believes in developing relationships with patients to understand their health goals and working collaboratively with each to develop a plan to achieve their optimal state of health. She is double board certified as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC) and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Holly started her nursing career in 2012 working in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). Continuing a career in cardiac nursing, she then took a job as a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner in the middle of the global pandemic. This unique time in critical care medicine has shaped her beliefs on proactive care models rather than the traditional reactionary methods. Throughout her time in the Critical Care environment as a nurse practitioner, she has also had the opportunity to use some of the most advanced medical technology. She now travels the country speaking to critical care staff about this advanced medical technology and hemodynamic monitoring.
Holly completed her Associates of Science (ASN) as well as her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the University of Arkansas. She then earned not only her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) but also her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees through the University of South Alabama. When Holly is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, collecting rollerball and fountain pens alike, and attending rock concerts across the country with her best friend, Julius.
