Fillers

What are Fillers?

At Recover Restore Revive, we have chosen RHA and Revanesse as our main brands of fillers for both dermal and lip applications. When performed by a qualified injector who has advanced training in this field, all these products are completely safe and clinically proven to provide results. RHA is the first and only FDA-approved filler for injection into both the superficial dermis and dermis to treat dynamic perioral rhytids.

Fillers are a gel-like, volumizing substance that is injected beneath the skin to treat lines or wrinkles, reestablish volume loss, or to enhance facial contours. Fillers have become a cost-effective way to look younger and add volume without surgery or excessive downtime.

What are Lip Fillers?

Lip fillers are also known as Hyaluronic Acid fillers. A sign of beauty, youth and good health are full and plump lips. Whether you were born with thin lips or your lips are thinning due to the aging process, there are many ways to enhance the lips. Lip injections using natural or synthetic fillers can help keep your lips plump for months at a time.

The RHA Collection

RHA Redensity: Indicated for injection into the dermis and superficial dermis of the face for the correction of moderate to severe dynamic perioral rhytids.

RHA 2: A flexible filler that’s FDA-approved for correcting the appearance of moderate folds. RHA 2 is ideal for smoothing the surface of the skin as well as treating radial cheek lines, AKA accordion lines, and perioral or lipstick lines. This filler can also be used for patients seeking lip augmentation.

RHA 3: Firmer than RHA 2 and is used to treat moderate to severe facial folds.

RHA 4: The firmest of their collection. It’s designed to be injected into the deep dermis and even the superficial subcutaneous tissue. This filler addresses deep wrinkles and severe folds, including nasolabial folds and marionette lines, and to build out the chin and jawline.

What to expect for Fillers

There is no downtime or long recovery period. Swelling and bruising are common.

As we get older, our body produces less collagen, which is a major factor in the development of wrinkles in the skin. This happens because collagen is a key structural component that keeps skin’s appearance plump, youthful appearing and smooth. If you want to combat wrinkles and aging skin or any of the following describes you, dermal fillers could be an option:

  • You have deep lines or wrinkles around the eyes, brow or mouth
  • You would like to change the contours of your jaw, nose or lips
  • You want to boost volume in your lips or cheek
  • You are interested in minimally invasive, non-surgical treatment options
  • Subtle and non-permanent results are acceptable
  • You are not ready for surgical options like FaceTite, facelift or fat transfer

While dermal fillers are casually known as “wrinkle fillers,” they can do much more than just smooth out wrinkles. Here are a few of the common appearance issues dermal fillers can help address to restore a more youthful appearance:

  • Smooth out wrinkles around nose and mouth (a.k.a. marionette lines, smile lines, and parentheses lines)
  • Minimize signs of aging
  • Enhance & restore volume to sunken cheeks
  • Sculpt a more defined jawline
  • Diminish vertical lip lines
  • Add volume to and enhance the lips
  • Smooth out a chin crease
  • Contour the nose

Depending on the products and the areas treated, you should notice results immediately after receiving your filler injection. One of the reasons dermal fillers are so popular is because of their minimal recovery time. Some patients experience mild bruising and swelling of the skin around treated areas, but these are temporary and should subside over the days following treatment.
