Vascular Lesion Treatment

What is Vasculaze?

Vasculaze is an advanced laser treatment that improves a wide variety of vascular concerns such as birthmarks and spider veins by targeting the blood vessel that causes the blemish. This treatment can be used to improve vascular lesions on multiple areas of the body including the face. The treatment is precise; as the head of the laser is designed to pinpoint the root of the concern, the vein or venous network.

How Does Vasculaze Work?

Vasculaze targets the pigment in the visible veins, which disables these specific veins. The body reroutes the blood to another healthy vein, and the treated veins eventually die and are absorbed into the body as waste.

In the case of a birthmark. The laser energy is absorbed by the pigment, which breaks it up and destroys it. The body naturally absorbs the pigment particles and flushes them out.

What does Vasculaze treat?

Recover Restore Revive utilizes Vasculaze to treat various vascular lesions that affect the face and legs. This includes:

  • Spider veins
  • Facial veins
  • Port wine stains
  • Leg veins
  • Telangiectasias (broken blood vessels)
  • Angiomas (benign growth of small blood vessels)

Although Vasculaze is effective at treating spider veins, Vasculaze cannot eliminate varicose veins which are enlarged veins that most commonly affect the legs.

What to Expect

You will be provided safety glasses to protect your eyes. Generally, there is no need for any anesthesia, as this treatment is not painful, but you may feel some minor discomfort. The Vasculaze laser will be applied to the treatment area. You may feel a warming sensation as the blood vessels absorb the laser pulses.

Depending on the size of the area treated, your Vasculaze procedure may take anywhere from a few minutes to half an hour.

Aftercare:

You can return to normal activities following the procedure. There are a few aftercare tips:

  • Apply moisturizer after your treatment
  • Wear sunscreen on the treated area for 3-4 weeks minimum
  • Avoid aerobic exercise, hot baths or rubbing the treated area for about a week
