What is Concierge Medicine?

Concierge medicine is commonly known as boutique medicine, concierge care, retainer-based medicine, platinum practice and direct primary care – is membership-based healthcare that pairs exclusive, personalized care with accessibility and convenience. This model of care allows you to have greater access to your healthcare providers and personalized care. This model of care was created in the 1990s when physicians felt that their patient’s needs were going unmet as a direct relation to the time constraints placed upon their services. This lack of quality time can be mitigated by utilizing a concierge provider who can tailor a custom plan for your care without 15 minute visit time constraints. 

What services do we offer?

Here at Recover Restore Revive we offer a Concierge Medicine plan for a yearly membership fee. 

Included in your fee, you will get:

  • A yearly physical with laboratory studies included and three additional sick visits throughout the year. 
  • The first year includes one additional wellness visit while establishing your care here. 
  • Your plan as well as direct care comes from either our physician or nurse practitioner. 
  • You also gain access to email and after-hours coverage via text or phone call.

Concierge Medicine Advantages

Both physicians and patients find it frustrating that they don’t have the time to build strong relationships. Appointment times are constricted by insurance company reimbursements and occasionally quotas. Concierge/boutique medicine allows physicians to spend additional time with patients without the constraints of insurance carriers. 

If you are frustrated by the time it takes to schedule and wait for doctors’ appointments, concierge medicine is worth it.

There is a considerable difference between this model and other standard healthcare options.  Concierge medicine can tailor its practice not only towards the patient but also the community they serve.

Patients are charged a single annual fee and therefore primary care visits will already be covered.  Patients will not have to pay a copay or fee every time they visit their concierge physician. Depending on the plan chosen, sick visits are also covered and usually seen the same day.
