Holly Balogh DNP, APRN, opened Recover Restore Revive with her husband due to a shared interest in providing comprehensive care to patients from all backgrounds with some of the latest medical technology. Holly’s medical vision for her practice is one of open communication where all patients feel comfortable discussing even their most intimate needs. Shebelieves in developing relationships with patients to understand their health goals and working collaboratively with each to develop a plan to achieve their optimal state of health. She is double board certified as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP-BC) and a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Holly started her nursing career in 2012 working in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). Continuing a career in cardiac nursing, she then took a job as a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner in the middle of the global pandemic. This unique time in critical care medicine has shaped her beliefs on proactive care models rather than the traditional reactionary methods. Throughout her time in the Critical Care environment as a nurse practitioner, she has also had the opportunity to use some of the most advanced medical technology. She now travels the country speaking to critical care staff about this advanced medical technology and hemodynamic monitoring.
Holly completed her Associates of Science (ASN) as well as her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the University of Arkansas. She then earned not only her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) but also her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees through the University of South Alabama. When Holly is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, collecting rollerball and fountain pens alike, and attending rock concerts across the country with her best friend, Julius.
